Flour Mercosur

The Flour Mercosur Business Unit was born in 1999 under the name of Trigalia S.A. when Cargill and Molinos Río de la Plata merged, two major companies baselines of the argentine food industry. Both companies formed this joint venture adding experience, knowledge, capability and an outstanding level technology to the flour market.

In November 2002, Trigalia was totally acquired by Cargill, and started to operate under the name of Mercosur Flour. Leader in milling and sales in the argentine market and one of the main exporters of flour in the Mercosur region, the business unit counts with 7 mills strategically distributed all along the country and two mills in Brazil. It provides products and services to more than 6,000 customers, being the main distribution channels: bakeries, distributors and industries in the market.

Mercosur Flour is dedicated to the production of flours type 000 and 0000, bread wheat semolina, durum flours, premixes and special flours prepared according to the usage and specification of customers. Our main brands are: Favorita, Letizia, Rosafe And Blancaflor.
